Having been a bit short on time lately due to changes in my job, I’ve been finding it hard to get the time to update my MozBlog and I started to use Pinterest on my phone to document images that I found interesting. It’s been a really useful tool for my professional work and for tracking things of interest to me so I’ve decided its time to make a link here so you can have a look.
If your interested in the portraits I have been looking at on my blog over the last few years then there is plenty to see on my Pinterest page plus it is now joined by images for typography, branding, Mondo posters and much much more! You can scroll up or down in the image field below or click on a picture to view my most current selections...Enjoy.

![]() Diego works as a freelance illustrator in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His work reminds me of paintings such as 'Apollo and Daphne' by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (1696-1770) who was part of the Italian Rococo movement. Diego's interpretations of the female form are contemporary yet hark back to a much more romantic period in art which I think works really well. He is probably better known for his 60's inspired painting which I really love but this illustration of Audrey Hepburn caught my attention as it is so elegantly illustrated which suits the character so well. If you would like to see more of Phil Noto's work please visit http://philnoto.tumblr.com/ ![]() The very talented artist Elfan is a fulltime illustrator living in Bandung, Indonesia. I really like the loose line work of this illustration and the minimul use of colour to really lift the image off the page. To see more of Elfans work please visit: http://elfandiary.tumblr.com/ and https://www.behance.net/gallery/16667919/moleskine-ptiii ![]() Jade is a professional concept artist and illustrator based in Edinburgh. She has produced some amazing work for video games and graphic design. This illustration caught my eye really for the use of patterns within the realistic image. It’s really unusual while the type adds the comedy. To see more of her work please visit: http://www.omochablog.blogspot.co.uk/ |
