This has such a strong painterly feel for me and I love the way the picture is carefully planned to provide such inventive concepts.

Tokyo based video creator Miki Takahashi creates a real sense of emotion and story in his work with his subtle combination of images that make you want to know more of the story. To view more of his work please visit: http://www.behance.net/miki_takahashi Light painting has come of age recently with photographers finding more creative ways to use the technique rather than the default traffic images of a few years ago. This image by BurnBlue Photography caught my attention as its one of the first to try to incorporate its technique within a more natural landscape. It does a great job of grabbing your attention and makes me wonder just how it was done? They have an almost hypnotic feel when you initially come across one on the web and combined with the high quality fashion photography create amazing images that you cant but help look at. To see what I mean visit Beck & Burg's web site at the following link: http://cinemagraphs.com/ This photograph by Sarah Cooper and Nina Gorfer’s comes from a set which documented their journey to Kyrgyzstan and was part of their solo exhibition called My Quiet of Gold. The artist/photographers approached the culture by allowing the people they met to stage their own stories. The artists’ portrayals of the people not only have a strong 19th century portrait feel but also suggest other meanings hidden away in the narrative of the image.
