This was a fun little project to create four house shields for Hill of Banchory School. The children at the school supplied a range of stories and illustrations regarding the school and surrounding region, which I then developed into final designs. The house shields incorporated elements reflecting the local community, wild life and education. This was linked to four trees that are common to the region. The new house shields are already in use and proving popular with the children. To find out more about Hill of Banchory School please visit: http://hillofbanchory.aberdeenshire.sch.uk/ | |

IllustrationThose of you that have been looking at my MozBlog over the last year will have picked up on my interest in Illustration. The arrival of my daughter in the summer of 2012 had slowed that process down but I plan to get going with this in 2016....maybe! Categories
