![]() This great image from Craig has taken a modern image from the movie and worked it back to a more comic book/illustrative style found in the early 2000AD comics of my childhood. Was always a big fan of Brian Bolland so this image really reminds me of his work. Sorry can't find a website for Craig’s work but will keep looking.

![]() Raphaël is based in Belgium and has become well known in the industry for his fashion and design illustrations. His work has also been featured in numerous books, magazines and websites. I love the way he mixes pattern, typography and illustrations to create rich imagery, which you can look at numerous times and continue to find new things within the layers of the image. Her work has a elegant and unique style to it which sings out to memories from a more elegant time. His work is truly elegant, simple yet so detailed. As he mentions on his own artist profile with the arrival of computer in the design world I have forgotten how to use a pencil. I have been looking at so many illustrators over the last few months and thinking about were to start I had forgotten about the joy of just placing pencil to paper. Of course Nipper is an expert in this but he has reminded me about the most important part being a designer/illustrator. Just enjoy it! I really love this style of illustration and would like to try and emulate it someday.
