INTRODUCTION

Despite the huge advances in digital photography and printing over the last few years, and the shift from 35mm film to digital media, the actual output from the camera itself has not fundamentally changed since the very earliest photographic prints.

With the support of Alt-w and Historic Scotland, I have had the opportunity to combine my experience in web design with photography to create a series of panoramic images. These images do not simply emulate 35mm film based work, but provide the viewer with a more immersive experience combing movement and sound.

This web site takes you to four of Historic Scotland's castles located across the country. They are chronologically ordered to show the development and changes in design of these buildings over time.
